Lynne Baron loves to create beauty, and loves it even more when her friends and clients take pleasure in the beauty she creates.
After working in fashions and an accessory buyer for a high-end fashion store for over 20 years, Lynne has turned her passion for interior design, home accessorizing and event planning in the Lynne Baron Design Studio. Operating on an appointment only basis, Lynne finds time to work with friends and her favorite clients while pursuing her other interests. These include her three grown children and their spouses and seven beautiful grandchildren--all under the age of five!
Her home in Bellingham, Washington is the most complete expression of her taste and talent. But the homes, weddings and special events of many of her friends and community charities have also benefited from her unique talents and gracious management style.
In 2008 she was the Event Designer for the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Gala and also the Whatcom Hospice Foundation "Light the Night" auction.
Recently she joined forces with Ann Rasmussen of True Bliss Events to design weddings, parties and special events. She has worked closely with Steve Moore of Steve Moore Design in creating spectacularly beautiful weddings and special events.
Lynne Baron Studio, located adjacent to her home in Bellingham, provides special guests and clients a unique opportunity to share in Lynne's joy in discovering one of a kind home decor, antiques and event accessory items. These are frequently found at flea markets, estate sales, garage sales and out of the way shops and stores where they remain hidden to most until Lynne's discerning eye spots them.
Lynne and her husband of 35 years, Gerald Baron, combine their interests in art and the simpler pleasures. Gerald, a communications professional and technology executive, is an avid painter and his paintings are also on display in the Studio. They also share an interest in gardening, amply expressed in their 3/4 acre garden including a small barn and chickens.
Their creative interests are amply reflected in the lives of their three talented children. Oldest son Chris resides in Pasadena, California with his wife Deborah and two daughters, Elise and Noelle. Chris is Director of Photography for television and documentary film projects and earned an Emmy nomination in 2007 for his work on the A&E show "Intervention." Son Geoffrey is a software designer with PIER Systems, in Bellingham where he lives with wife Amy, and his children Emily, Ethan and Eva. Daughter Ashley Rodriguez and her husband Gabriel Rodriguez have two boys, Baron and Roman. Ashley is a pastry chef, formerly with Spago in Beverly Hills and now a food writer and blogger, and husband Gabe has a wedding and commercial photography business, Gabriel Boone Photography.
